Rayleen was born in the Utopia region of Central Australia in the Northern Territory around 1965 and is the daughter of Margaret Price, and the niece of Anna Price Petyarre, both celebrated Aboriginal artists. Rayleen is a very versatile emerging artist that uses vibrant colours and she easily captures beautiful movement in her paintings. The main theme of her paintings is "Bush Seed Dreaming" which is found in the hills of her country.
