Ronnie Bird Jungala was born in 1960 and is the son of Internationally acclaimed artist Ada Bird Petyarre the sister of Gloria, Myrtle, Kathleen, Violet, Jeannie and Nancy Petyarre. His works are very traditional in that he utilizes the age old Papunya artists method of painting with a stick and fine dot work. Ronnie is married to Janet Golder Kngwarreye, granddaughter of the great Emily Kame Kngwarreye. He is a young and progressive artist who has a very bright future and has works in many Collections throughout Australia and Europe. Ronnie is a young and quickly emerging artist. He depicts mainly Men's ceremonial stories and Dreamings of his country. **********
